finally made the pull on the large plastic sheet today

did not turn out particularly well

but i did it


started to experiment with some more floor painting  focused on a very surreal figure 

i sort of looked at keith harings figures  egon schieles figures  and thought about sort of a dancing and fluid humanish form and painted that

i like the very dreamlike length of the arms and legs  the small torso  the strange head  the ambiguity of the figure  the large hands and feet

i like working on the really large paper  although i wish it is wider  

time doesnt particularly exist when i paint these specifically  because only the line in front of me gets my attention  an entire hour passed this afternoon in what felt to me like 5 minutes

i want to add more to the figures  i think one i might paint a crude heart somewhere on the torso

on one i want to add a broken ring

on one a halo or a knife

i want to paint them much much larger  large enough to fill a whole wall or entire room

i want to pull the colors and paint the figures on one another

next to one another

separate but also very connected

i enjoy the fluidity of the figures  i want them to feel like me  like you  like the surreal human experience going through the motions

i guess they sort of represent a freedom from depression

an unwillingness to fit in the normal standards of what a human or man or person is 

i like the fragility of them

also i despise being bothered while i am painting these or others  ideally i could have an entire large room to myself to cover in figures and images  with enough floor space to accommodate very large and different works
